The ART Story
Audio Reinforcement Technologies or A.R.T., Inc. for short opened their doors in the fall of 1982.
The company has been expanding ever since. What started out as an audio company is now heavily involved in professional lighting, video and control systems too. A.R.T. can best be described as a Sound, Lighting and Video contractor specializing in turnkey jobs for entertainment and commercial projects, thus the SLV that's included in the website url.
ART has been doing innovative projects since it's inception for over 35 years now. Projects such as the famous Scaramouche Discotecque in Cozumel Mexico with it's distinctive massive moving lighting rig that would come out of the ceiling and settle just over dancers' heads. Alas, that was in the early years and the club is no more but it demonstrates that nothing has been out of reach for ART since the beginning.
Fountainebleau Pods
Here we are late in the second decade of the 21st century and ART has clients from as far south as the Carribean such as Sandals Resorts to as far north as Milwaukee Wisconsin where the innovative highend restaurant/club/bowling alley iPic resides. ART has done a Sales Ride for luxury condos in Bloomfield Hills Michigan as well as the refurbished Sound System in Gusman Hall at the University of Miami complete with custom Sub and Mid-High Cabinets constructed with Red Oak and stained to match the concert hall seating.
